en hommage a Degas

Inspired by Degas and by Wesley himself, this series also pays homage to the fact that dancing en pointe originated with men.

This image was created using only natural light coming into the space through a west-facing window. As with all of my work these days there are no reflectors and no fill - just the last few hours of daylight as it makes its way down through the western sky.
