Description
Trace Sky photographed at his abandoned cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado
Inspite of what it looks like here it was 25 degrees and snowing when we took these pictures. The storm swirled quickly all around us, occasionally opening up the sky and letting the sun shine brightly on Trace for a few moments.
We hiked miles in the snow to get there and I had to stop often to catch my breath at ten thousand feet. When the cabin appeared before me I felt like crying. If you live long enough and if you're willing to keep climbing even when your legs and lungs are burning, there are treasures still at the end of the climb.

It has a watercolor effect, huh?
And what an ordeal you had to go through just to get this picture!
Well it won't go unnoticed.
